After all the talk of ‘Town losing their edge this year, they have found themselves in the State semi-finals at Hofstra University to battle West Islip from Section 11 on June 7 @ 8:30

‘Town advanced after defeating Niskayuna 6-5 in the quarterfinals up at RPI.

The ‘Huskers last played in the semi-finals in ‘04. In that game they were defeated by Southside 13-7.

With Rye also winning — 15-3 over Johnstown — all three Section I teams will have a chance to represent on the Island come Thursday.

Why did they play at West Point in ‘04?

What was with the switch?

I remember the 9-8 Shoreham game — year after I graduated.

In 2004, Yorktown lost to South Side big, but the game, and all the state semifinals, were at West Point. The last time Town played at Hofstra was 2003, when they beat Shoreham-Wading River in OT, 9-8.
