Alright, I’ll be doing a different position each day.
We start with the core of the team — THE DEFENSE.
My playing days ended when I graduated ‘Town in ‘02.
So, my knowledge won’t go as far back as many of the older cats out there.
However, I’ll throw one name out there — Steve McElduff
What about you?
Keep’em comin’ …

What do you think?
Do you think in order to excel at the highest level in the sport of lacrosse; one needs to solely concentrate on said sport?
Or do you think playing MANY different sports is the key to becoming a better overall athlete and lacrosse player?
I think playing as many sports as possible is key in developing as an overall athlete and lax player.
The instincts and competition derived through sports are similar across the board. Football, basketball, hockey and soccer are all parallel to the sport of lacrosse, which is why I think they are valuable cross-training sports for lacrosse-heads to play.

‘Town lost to St. Anthony’s 11-7.
St. Anthony’s went up 5-1 after the first quarter.
‘Town tightened their resolve on the defensive end in the second quarter, limiting the Friars to one goal, as they employed a stingy zone defense.
However, they weren’t able to get anything started on the offensive end, going into the half down 6-1.
‘Town finally found their offense in the second half, outscoring the Friars 6-5.
But it in the end it came down to the sluggish first quarter, which doomed the Huskers.
Brendan Kurpis led the charge for ‘Town with 3 goals and 1 assist.
